1844-1845 Temettuât Defterlerine Göre Ziyere Köyü'nün Sosyal ve Ekonomik Durumu

ÖZET Bu çalışmanın amacı 19.yy ortalarında Ziyere(Ziyaret) Köyü´nün sosyal ve ekonomik yapısını ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmanın ana kaynağını 1844-1845 Temettuât defterleri oluşturmaktadır. Bu tarihte Sivas eyaleti Amasya sancağı Akdağ nahiyesine bağlı bir köy olan Ziyere üç mahalleden ve 254 haneden oluşmaktadır. Nüfusun büyük çoğunluğu Müslümandır, 23 hanesi ise gayr-i müslimdir. Hane reislerinin genel olarak Türk-İslam kültürünü yansıtan adlar taşıdığı aynı zamanda ailelerin tanınmasına yardımcı olan çeşitli unvan ve lakaplar kullandıkları görülmektedir. Köy, nüfusu küçük aile işletmelerinde genel olarak bahçıvanlık ve hayvancılık ile geçimini sağlayan tipik bir Osmanlı köy ekonomisi özelliği göstermektedir. Bağcılık ve dut yetiştiriciliğinin yaygın olduğu köyde özellikle küçükbaş hayvancılık gelişmiştir. Ticaret gelirlerinin de kaydedildiği Ziyere´de taşımacılıkta merkep ve katırdan faydalanılmıştır.

Social and Economical Status of Ziyere Village Related to the 1844-1845 Temettuât Registers

The aim of this study is to explain the social and economical structure of Ziyere Village (Ziyaret) in the middle of the 19th century. The temettuât records kept in 1844-1845 occured the basic source of the study. During that period, the Ziyere village was consisted of 254 houses, three neighbourhoods and was the part of Akdag region within the Amasya Sanjak. Most of the population was Muslim whereas people who were living in 23 houses belonged to other religions. The fathers generally carried names belonging to the Türkish-Islamic culture and they used some titles and nicknames that helped the families known in the society, as well. The village reflected a typical Ottoman village features with the gardening and raising animals as a small scale enterprises. Gardening and mulberry growing was highly wide spreaded in the village and the small-animal raising was well developed. The transportation was performed by donkeys and mules in the Ziyere whose trade income records were kept.
