Effects of March 31 Uprising on the Ottoman Army
This article examines the impact of March 31 Uprising on the Ottoman military and presents that the active involvement of the Ottoman army in the reenactment of the Ottoman constitution in 1908 and the subsequent March 31 Uprising in the following year brought politics in the army and weakened its power and military capabilities.
