Birinci Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi'nin Demokratik Hassasiyetleri
23 Nisan 1920´de Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi´nin açılmasıyla Türk Demokrasi tarihinde yeni bir dönem baslamıstır. Birinci Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi, sahip olduğu yetkiler ve çalısma sistemi ile bu dönemin önemli bir halkasını teskil etmektedir. 1921 Anayasası ile bir "Meclis Hükümeti" modeli getirilerek Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi, yürütmenin ortağı olmustur. Bu yetkisine de sonuna kadar sahip çıkmıs, gerektiğinde sert tepkiler göstermistir.Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi Gizli Celse Zabıtları tarandığı zaman bu konuda pek çok örnek bulmak mümkündür. Birinci Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi´nin bu özellikleri ve çalısma sistemi ile bugünkü Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi´nin sahip olduğu özelikler ve çalısma sistemi mukayese edildiği zaman, demokrasimizin seksen yıllık uygulama sonunda ne kadar gelisebildiği hakkında fikir sahibi olmak mümkün olacaktır.

The First Grand National Assembly of Turkey's Democratic Sensibilities
A new term started in the Turkish Democracy history with the opening of Grand National Assembly of Turkey in 23 April 1920. The First Grand National Assembly of Turkey is the an important part of this term with the authorities it has and the working system. Grand National Assembly of Turkey had been the partner of executive by bringing an "Assembly Government" model with the 1921 Constitution. Grand National Assembly of Turkey had this authority to the last and in case of necessity showed the sharp reactions. When the closed session records of Grand National Assembly of Turkey were scanned, it is possible to find a lot of examples on this subject. When the characteristics and the working system of the first Grand National Assembly of Turkey were compared to current the characteristics and the working system of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, it is possible to have an idea on how much the democracy developed at the end of eighty years´ practice.
