Coup D'état of March 12th: The Rise of Military Tutelage and Interim Regime (12 March 1971-14 October 1973)
This article examines the interim regime period in Turkey between the March 12, 1971 military coup and the October 14, 1973 general elections. The article argues that the main cause of the military coup, which ignored people´s will, was that the military aimed to fill key administrative positions with their like-minded men and impose the reforms they found suitable.

Makale muhtıranın ana sebebi olarak Ordu´nun istediği idarecileri işbaşına getirmek ve kendi reformlarını halka dayatmak amacıyla milli iradeyi bir tarafa bırakıp, ara yönetimi kurduğu tezini savunmaktadır.
