Hear Says Releated To Foundation Of Herât City In The Works Of Fami, Sayf Harawi And Isfizari
Harat which has been an important settlement since the ancient times is within the boundaries of the state of Afghanistan. It is located in the east of Amu-Darya. The river Hari-rud is its most important stream. The city is considered as a part of Iranian territory in the Ancient times and Middle Ages. It´s an essential place since the time of sasanids and Macedonians. The tree major sources written about the medieval Harat recorded a wide veriety of narrotions about the foundation of the city. It´s included in these narration that Alexander the Great, Sasanids, Al-Khdir, apostles of Jesus and Zülkarneyn founded the city.

Fâmî, Seyf-i Herevî ve İsfizârî´nin Eserlerinde Herât Şehrinin Kuruluşu İle İlgili Rivâyetler
Çok eski devirlerden beri önemli bir yerleşme yeri olan Herât günümüzde Afganistan Devleti´nin sınırları içindedir. Ceyhun Nehri´nin doğusunda yer almaktadır. Herî-rûd Nehri en önemli akarsuyudur. Şehir İlk ve Orta Çağ´da İran Coğrafyasının bir parçası olarak kabul edilmiştir. Sâsânîler ve Makedonyalı Büyük İskender zamanından beri önemli bir yerdir. Orta Çağ´ın Herât ile ilgili olarak yazılmış üç önemli kaynağı şehrin kuruluşu ile ilgili çok çeşitli rivâyetler kaydetmişlerdir. Bu rivâyetlerde Büyük İskender, Sâsânîler, Hızır Aleyhisselâm, Hz. İsa´nın Havarîleri ve Zülkarneyn´in kurduğu bilgileri mevcuttur.
