II. Murad´s Siege of Belgrade
This article examines the 1439 siege of Belgrade by Ottoman sultan Murad II and argues that despite the infiltration of Ottoman soldiers into the city, failure on the part of commanders to position the Ottoman soldiers successfully prevented the capture of the city.
