This article examines the reflections of Western battles of the Turkish Independence War on the Western press and explores that the Western press still hoped to revive the defunct Sevr Treaty (1920). The Western front battles of the Turkish Independence War, which paved the road to the Lausanne Treaty of 1923, started with the İnönü battle (6-11 January 1921) and lasted two years.
