Local Government and Institutional Arrangements in Asia Minor in the Roman Imperial Era
Many developments in the socio-political structure of Greek poleis in Asia Minor during the Imperial Age were shaped within the framework of the regulations between local and universal practices. These developments can be followed in the structural change of the boule with the boards and offices such as dekaproteia, logistai and eirenarchia which were introduced to the management culture of the settlements with the Roman rule. In this social and political transformation, the local aristocracy, which was activated by Rome, has an important place. Members of this noble class were supported by the Roman administration in having a say in political institutions and assuming high-level public positions. In the study, the effects of local nobility in the local government order in the Roman Imperial Age were examined, and the institutional transformation process in the administrative structure of the poleis was evaluated.

Roma İmparatorluk Çağı´nda Küçük Asya´da Yerel Yönetim ve Kurumsal Düzenlemeler
İmparatorluk Çağı´nda Küçük Asya´da Grek polis´lerinin sosyo-politik yapısında yaşanan çoğu gelişme, yerel ve evrensel uygulamalar arasındaki düzenlemeler çerçevesinde şekillenmiştir. Bu gelişmeler, Roma egemenliği ile birlikte yerleşimlerin yönetim kültürüne tanıtılan dekaprotos´luk, logistes´lik ve eirenarkhos´luk gibi kurul ve memuriyetler ile boule´nin yapısal değişiminde izlenebilmektedir. Bu sosyal ve politik dönüşümde Roma´nın yönetimde etkin kıldığı yerel soylu sınıf önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu soylu sınıfın üyeleri, politik kurumlarda söz sahibi olmak ve üst düzey kamu görevlerini üstlenmek için Roma yönetimi tarafından desteklenmiştir. Çalışmada Roma İmparatorluk Çağı´nda yerel soyluların kent yönetimindeki etkileri incelenmiş, polis´lerin idari yapısında gerçekleşen kurumsal dönüşüm süreci değerlendirilmiştir.
