Some Notes on Ilm-e Nujoom (Astrology) in the Seljuks Period
This article examines the science of ilm-e nujoom or astrology in the Seljuk Empire and explains that in both the Great Seljuk Empire and the Anatolian Seljuk State, the courtiers of the sultans were generally either doctors or astrologists and that the sultans gave special attention to the science of ilm-e nujoom.

Bu çalışmada Selçuklu Devleti´nde müneccimlik incelenerek, hem Büyük Selçuklu İmparatorluğu´nda hem de Türkiye Selçuklu Devleti´nde hükümdarların nedimlerinin genellikle tabip ya da müneccimlerden oluştuğu, sultanların da nucûm ilmine meraklı olup bu ilme önem verdikleri tespit edilmektedir.
