The Official Document "Receipt"Given to Russia By Otoman State Pertaining to Crimea (1784)
Crimea seceded from Ottoman State due to the 3rd Article of Treaty of Küçük Kaynarca (Kuchuk Kainarji) signed between Russia and Ottoman State. From this date forward, Russia firstly tried to occupy Crimea and then annex it. In this article, the way and process of giving the official document, which was called "Receipt of Crimea" that Russia demanded from The Ottoman State pertaining to Crimea where was occupied and annexed in 1783, will be examined. At the end of the article, full text of this official document given to Russia by The Ottoman State will be presented.
