Maârif Salnâmelerine Göre Kütahya Sancağı'nda Eğitim-Öğretim (H.1316-1321/M.1898-1904)
Bu çalışmada Maârif Salnâmeleri'nde yer alan veriler doğrultusunda Kütahya Sancağı'ndaki eğitim öğretim faaliyetleri ele alınacaktır. Bu amaçla H.1316-1321/M.1898-1904 (H.1320/M.1902-1903 tarihli Maârif Salnâmesi günümüze kadar tesadüf edilemediği için hariç) tarihli salnâmeler incelenerek Hüdavendigâr Vilâyeti'ndeki Maârif İdarisi, Kütahya Sancağı'ndaki mevcut okullar, bu okullardaki idareciler, öğretmenler, hademe sayıları, öğrenci sayıları ve öğretilen dersler, medreseler, görevli müderrisler, gayrimüslim ve yabancı okulları, ne zaman açıldıkları, adlarına ruhsat verilip verilmediği hakkında bilgi verilecektir. Üstelik Kütahya Sancağı'nda bulunan Kütüphaneler ele alınarak, kaç adet kitaba sahip oldukları, adı geçen sancakta matbaa olup olmadığı, gazete basılıp basılmadığı hakkında da değerlendirmeler yapılacaktır.

Education and Instruction in Kütahya Sanjak According to Education Yearbooks (H.1316-1321/M.1898-1904)
In the present study, the educational and instructional activities in Kütahya Sanjak will be held depending on the data in Education Yearbooks. For this reason, the yearbooks dated H.C. 1316-1321 / G.C. 1898-1904 (excluding H.C. 1320/ G.C. 1902-1903 as they have not reached to the present time) will be analyzed and information will be given about Hüdavendigâr Province Educational Directorate, the present schools in Kütahya Sanjak, the number of administrators, teachers, servants, and students in these schools, courses given, madrasahs, teachers in madrasahs, non-muslims and foreign schools, when they were founded and whether they have an approval to institute. Moreover, the libraries in Kütahya Sanjak will be dealt with and evaluations will be done on how many books they have, whether the mentioned sanjak has a printing house and whether newspapers are printed or not.
