Mizancı Murad ve Jön Türkler

19.Yüzyılın son çeyreğine girerken Avrupalı devletler tarafından Osmanlı Devleti üzerindeki psikolojik siyasi ve ekonomik baskı artmıs ve bunu yenileri izlemistir. Devletin acziyetini gören Osmanlı aydınları, devleti bu kötü durumdan kurtarmak için bir takım düsünceler ortaya atmıslardır. Osmanlı Devleti´ni Avrupalıların tahakkümünden kurtaracaklarını düsünen bu aydınlar, Mizancı Murad gibi Panislamist veya Ahmet Rıza gibi Pozitivist düsüncelere sahip olsalar da hemen hepsi Mesrutiyet taraftarı olup görüslerini II. Abdülhamid´e kabul ettirmeye çalısmıslardır. Gazeteler aracılığı ile kamuoyunu etkilemeye çalısan ve bu yönde nesriyatlarda bulunan birçok aydın, Sultan´ın takibine uğramıs, bazen sürgüne gönderilmis bazen de Avrupa´ya kaçmıslardır. Bu aydınlardan biri olan Mizancı Murad, Avrupa´dayken Sultan ile anlasarak geri dönmüs ve kendisine inanan taraftarlarını yüzüstü bırakmıstır. Daha sonra iktidara gelen ve ihtilalcı düsüncelere sahip olan karsıtları, basta Mizancı Murad gibi kendilerine ihanet edenleri asla affetmemis ve tekrar birlikte çalısma isteklerine olumlu bakmamıslardır.

While Ottoman Empire was entering the last quarter of the nineteenth century, European countries continuously increased * Doç. Dr. Dumlupınar Ün. Ottoman intellectuals that were aware of that current situation and recognized the state´s inability (weakness) and forned new ideas in order to rescue from this helplessness. They were of the opinion that they would rescue the Ottoman state through new ideas. While these ideas were based on positivist thoughts such as Ahmet Rıza´s and Pan-Dslamist thoughts such as Mizancı. Neverthless, nearly all of them supported constitutional monarchy and they strived to get their ideas accepted by Abdülhamid the second. To this end, they endeavored to affect the public opinion through the newspapers and, therefore, they published some literary works. Because of the Sultan´s wrath and his ideas, they sometimes went to exile to Europe. However, some of them such as Mizancı Murad reached an agreement with the Sultan while they were in Europe to return home and caused their adherents´ being left incomplete. Afterwards, the persons with their revolutionary ideas, who came into power, did not forgive the persons such as Mizancı Murad who betrayed them in spite of their desire about joining them.
