Neoklaudiopolis Antik Kenti ve Territoryumu 2019 Yüzey Araştırması ve Envanter Çalışmaları

Vezirköprü İlçesinin tarihini araştırmak, İlçedeki arkeolojik kültür varlıklarını tespit etmek ve Neoklaudiopolis Antik Kenti´nin lokalizasyonunu ve çevresiyle olan ilişkilerini ortaya koyabilmek amacıyla planlanan çalışmaların 2019 sezonunda Vezirköprü´nün kuzey ve batısındaki 45 mahalle değerlendirme kapsamına alınmıştır. Bu çalışmalar sırasında, tescilli olanlarla birlikte, 8 kale ve 1 kule, 6 sarnıç, 14 yamaç yerleşimi, 6 höyük, 1 mağara, 8 tümülüs, 2 dini yapı, 32 taş sandık mezar, 3 kaya oygu mezar, 7 taş örgü mezar, 13 lahit teknesi ve kapağı, 11 mezar steli, 3 kaya mezarı, 7 nekropol, 2 kiremit mezar nekropolü, çok sayıda pres denge ağırlığı, işlik, sütun, sütun başlığı ve altlığı, lahit, mimari yapı elamanı, mimari blok, vaftiz teknesi, sunak, aquadukt mimari parça, İon kymationu, tavan kaseti, geison parçası, mezar stelleri ve mil taşları ayrıntılı bir şekilde araştırılarak kayıt altına alınmıştır. Buluntular ve merkezler; mimari, seramik ve çağdaş yerleşimlerin karşılaştırılması sonucu tarihlendirilme yoluna gidilmiştir.

In the 2019 season, 45 neighborhoods in the north and west of Vezirköprü are included in the scope of the work planned in order to research the history of Vezirköprü District, to determine the archaeological cultural assets in the district and to reveal the localization of Neoklaudiopolis Ancient City and its relations with its environment.During these studies, were investigated in detail and their coordinates were determined and photographed and recorded together with the registered ones, 8 fortresses and 1 tower, 6 cisterns, 14 slope settlements, 6 mounds, 1 cave, 8 tumuli, 2 religious buildings, 32 stone chest tombs, 3 rock-cut tombs, 7 stone knit tombs, 13 sarcophagus and cover, 11 grave steles, 3 rock tombs, 7 necropolis, 2 tile grave necropolis, many press counterweight, workshop, column, column head and base, sarcophagus, architectural building element, architectural block, baptism boat, altar, Aquadukt architectural piece, Ion cymation, ceiling cassette, geison piece, grave steles and milestones were researched and recorded in detail. Finds and centers; as a result of comparing the architectural, ceramic and contemporary settlements, a way of dating was made.
