Osmanlı´da Rüya: Beklenti ve Kehanet (Genel Bir Değerlendirme)

Osmanlı Devleti´yle ilgili kaleme alınan ilk eserlerde Osmanlı Beyliği´nin cihan imparatorluğu olacağı bir rüya motifiyle anlatılmıştır. Yine Osmanlı padişahları ve halkın çeşitli kesimlerince de devletin geleceği ile ilgili birçok rüya görüldüğü de bilinmektedir. Bu çalışmamızda özellikle halkın ve yönetici sınıfın devletin geleceği ve kendi gelecekleriyle ile ilgili görmüş olduğu rüyalar ele alınmış ve şu sorulara cevap aranmıştır: Görülen rüyalar hangi temada yoğunlaşmıştır; rüya görenler toplumun hangi kesimine mensuptur; Rüyaları yorumlayanlar kimlerdir; Gördükleri rüya gerçekten görülmüş müdür yoksa kurgulanmış mıdır; Rüyalarını anlattıktan sonra herhangi bir talepte bulunmuşlar mıdır; yorumlanan rüyalar gerçekleşmiş midir? Osmanlı ve rüya konusunda bazı çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Ancak bizim çalıştığımız belgelerden yola çıkılarak yapılmış bir çalışma bulunmamaktadır. Çalışmanın sonunda ulaşılan bazı bulgular ise şunlardır: Anlaşılabildiği kadarıyla rüyalar padişahla bir şekilde iletişim kurmanın yolu olarak görülmüştür. Rüyalar genellikle yeni fetih ve yeni zaferleri müjdelemektedir. Çoğunlukla tasavvuf ehli rüya görmüş veya rüyaları yorumlamıştır. Hz. Muhammed (SAV) rüyalarda sıklıkla görülmüştür. Görülen rüyalar genellikle olumludur ve hakkında rüya görülen kişinin aleyhine herhangi bir gelişme söz konusu değildir. Türk mitolojisinin çeşitli unsurlarına bu rüyalarda rastlanmıştır. Padişahtan sonra yerine geçecek şehzadenin kim olacağı merak edilmiş bunlarla ilgili rüyalardan yola çıkarak yorumlamalar yapılmıştır.

At the first works of art, which were written up related to Ottoman Empire, Ottoman Feudality´s becoming to universe empire was visualised with dream motive. Yet, it is known that Ottoman Sultans and some groups of people of the public had dreams about the state´s future. In this research, especially, dreams of public and ruling class associated with the future of the state and their own self were discussed and sought answers for such questions: On which themes have been dreams concentrated on; which part/group of public do those having dreams belong to; who are those interpreting dreams; were the dreams having had real or fictionalised; did they demand something after telling their dreams; did interpreted dreams come true? Some researches were done about the Ottoman and dreams. Contrary to that, there are no study about the period which we work on, based on the sources in Presidency Archives of Ottoman. These are the findings obtained at the end of the research: to the extent of comprehensibility, dreams are considered such a way of communication with sultan somehow. Dreams, in general, herald new conquests and victories. Usually, mystic/Sufi people had dreams or interpreted them. The Prophet was seen frequently in dreams. Having had dreams are generally positive and any progress to the detriment of the person who had dream about is out of the question. Various elements of Turk mythology occurred in these dreams. Wondering The "shahzade", who would be to replace sultan after, some interpretations based on the dreams that concern the issue were made.
