XVI. Yüzyılda Koğans Nahiyesi: Nüfus ve Yerleşme

XVI. yüzyılda Bayburt´a bağlı olan Koğans (Kovans) Nahiyesi ya da Cumhuriyet dönemindeki ismiyle Kale, 1978-79 yılına kadar Gümüşhane merkeze bağlı bir bucak olarak idari vasfını devam ettirmiştir. Bu çalışmada, Koğans Nahiyesi kayıtlarının yer aldığı 1518, 1530 ve 1591 tarihli üç adet Tahrir Defteri kullanılarak Koğans Nahiyesinin XVI. yüzyıldaki nüfus ve yerleşme yapısı incelenmiştir. Bu çerçevede, özellikle nüfusun dini yapısında meydana gelen değişimler üzerinde durulmuş ve bunun nedenleri açıklanmıştır.

Koğans (Kovans) Township belongs to Bayburt in the 16th century or the name of Kale in the Republic period, sustained the administrative facility as a district belongs to the center of Gümüşhane to 1978-79 years. In this study, the three pieces of Tahrir Registers dated 1518, 1530 and 1591 that there were records about Koğans Township have been used and the population and settlement structure of Koğans Township in the 16th century. In this frame, especially the differants that happened in the religion structure of the population have been emphasized and their causes have been explained.
