1844 (1260 H.) Tarihli Çorum Sancağı Müslüman Nüfus Defterine Göre Çorum Şehrinin Demografik Yapısı
Osmanlı Arşivi "Çorum Şehrinin Müslim Nüfus Defteri´ incelenerek hazırlanan bu çalışma Çorum şehrinin 1844 tarihli Müslüman nüfus yapısını inceleyerek, erkek nüfusu 5.000´i geçen şehirde takribi olarak 10.000´in üzerinde Müslümanın yaşadığını ve 20 yaş ve altı nüfusun toplam Müslüman nüfusun %45´ine tekabül ettiğini tespit etmektedir.

Muslim Demographic Structure of Çorum According to 1844 Dated Census Registry of Çorum
Relying on the "Muslim Census Registry of Çorum" from the Ottoman archives, this study examines the Muslim democratic structure of Çorum in 1844 and presents that with over 5,000 males in the population, the total Muslim population of the city was over 10,000 and approximately 45 % of this population was under the age of 20.
