'Bir Devrin Cemiyet Adamı: Doktor Fuad Umay' Biyografisi Üzerine Bir İnceleme
Bu çalışma, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu´nun son döneminden başlayarak Milli Mücadele ve Erken Cumhuriyet dönemlerine uzanacak şekilde çocuk davasında belirgin bir rol üstlenmiş bulunan Doktor Mehmet Fuad Umay hakkında yazılmış bir biyografik eser incelemesine dayanmaktadır. Doktor Mehmet Fuad Umay, 1921 yılında Ankara´da yeniden kurulan Himaye-i Etfal Cemiyeti´nin Katib-i Umumisi sıfatıyla çocuk hakları savunuculuğu ve savaş bakiyesi öksüz çocukların bakımı meseleleriyle ilgilenmiştir. Eserde ayrıca Doktor Mehmet Fuad Umay´ın Milli Mücadele dönemindeki faaliyetleri, Lozan Konferansı sırasında Himaye-i Etfal Cemiyeti´ne yardım sağlamak üzere çıktığı ABD gezisi ve Cumhuriyet´in erken dönemindeki diğer dernek çalışmalarına da yer verilmiştir.

An Examination on the Biography of Doctor Fuad Umay- A Time's Society Man
Taking up from the late times of the Ottoman Empire and leading through the times of National Struggle and the Early Republican Period, this study depends on the examination of a biographical study which had been written on Doctor Mehmet Fuad Umay who had assumed a significant role by the case of children. Doctor Mehmet Fuad Umay had been interested in the issues of children who had been the orphan remnants of the war times and the defending of the rights of children as the Secretary General of The Society For The Protection of Children (Himaye-i Etfal Cemiyeti), re-founded in Ankara, 1921. The activities of Doctor Mehmet Fuad Umay during the National Struggle, his expedition through the United States of America which was carrying the aim of providing assistance to the Society For The Protection of Children (Himaye-i Etfal Cemiyeti) during he Lausanne Conference and the activities related to the other societies are also given in this study.
