Dubrovnik İle Hersek Arasında Bir Diplomatik ve Ticari Probleme Dair İki Belgenin Tahlili (1606)

Dubrovnik Cumhuriyeti´nin Osmanlı İmparatorluğu ile olan ilişkilerinde Bosna Beylerbeyiliği ve Hersek sancağının farklı bir rolü bulunmaktaydı. Diplomatik ve ticari münasebetler şeklinde gelişen bu ilişkinin ayrıca sınırdaşlık yönü de mevcuttu. Dubrovnik yönetimi, Balkanlarla yaptıkları ticaretin devamında bilhassa Hersek´in önemini çok öncelerden kavramıştı. Dubrovnik elçileri sık sık ve çeşitli gerekçelerle Hersek idarecilerini ziyaret ederlerdi. XVII. yüzyıl başlarında yeni Hersek sancakbeyini ziyaret eden bir Dubrovnik elçisi, ticarî bir anlaşmazlık nedeniyle eski Hersek beyi tarafından esir edildi. Dubrovnik, elçinin kurtarılması için merkezî yönetimden yardım istedi. İstanbul´dan Bosna ve Hersek´e gönderilen iki ayrı yazışmanın içeriği sürecin tahlil edilmesine önemli katkılar sağlamaktadır.

There was a different role of Bosnian beglerbegligs and Herzegovina sancak in the relationship between Ottoman Empire and Republic of Dubrovnik. Developed in the form of diplomatic and commercial relations in the direction of this relationship is also present in borderland connections. Dubrovnik administration understood the importance of the Herzegovina in the matter of the continuation of their trade with Balkans. Dubrovnik envoys often visited Herzegovina on various grounds. In the beginning of XVII. century, a Dubrovnik envoy visited new sancakbeyi of Herzegovina, who were captured by the former sancakbeyi because of a dispute over trade. Dubrovnik, asked the central government for help to rescue the envoy. Istanbul sent two separate correspondences to Bosnia and Herzegovina that provided important contribution to analyz this process.
