Trabzon Limanı İnşası
Bu çalışmada Trabzon modern limanının inşası ele alınmış ve bütün zorluklara rağmen Trabzon´un modern limana kavuşmasının bölge ve ülke ekonomisine birçok avantajlar sağladığı tespit edilmiştir. Makalede bu limanın proje aşamasından inşaat aşamasına kadar geçen süreçte yapılan çalışmalar hakkında detaylı bilgiler verilmiştir. Yine proje aşamasından inşaat aşamasına kadar geçen süreçte karşılaşılan zorluklar ve meydana gelen aksamaların nedenlerinden detaylı olarak bahsedilmiştir. Liman inşası için gerekli malzemelerin taşınması ve bu süreçte yaşanan sıkıntılardan bahsedilerek inşaatın her aşaması resmi verilerle açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Liman inşası için alınan teklifler, çıkarılan kanun ve kararnamelere yer verilerek konunun resmi boyutu irdelenmiştir. Trabzon Limanı ve aynı dönemde inşa edilen diğer limanların maliyetlerinden bahsedilerek maliyet karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır.

The Constructıon of the Port of Trabzon
This study examines the construction of the modern Port of Trabzon and indicates contributions of the port to the improvement of economy in Trabzon and Turkey. The article provides detailed information about port construction from the project stage to construction stage along with the obstacles in the project stage and the causes of these obstacles. The article further traces the construction process through official data as well as the transportation of materials for the construction and the troubles encountered in this process. Offers taken for the construction of the port and decrees issued about the project have been covered with details to show official dimension of the issue. This study also has explained and compared the costs of the Port of Trabzon and other ports constructed in the same period.
